I opened my State Farm agency in Austin in 2014, and one thing I've learned is that a successful agency starts with great people.
I'm originally from Louisiana, a proud LSU alum, and married with two kids and our Golden Retriever, Bogie. I believe in creating a positive workplace where people enjoy coming to work, support each other, and take pride in helping customers.

THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused professional who enjoys helping people and wants to build a career in insurance.
This position combines customer service, relationship building, and insurance sales. You'll assist existing customers, help identify gaps in coverage, and introduce additional protection when it makes sense.
You'll work with an established customer base, receive hands-on training, and have opportunities to grow your skills and earning potential.
Insurance experience is preferred but not required. We're willing to train someone with the right attitude, work ethic, and desire to succeed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Customer Service Help customers with policy questions, changes, billing, and everyday insurance needs.
- Relationship Building Develop lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
- Coverage Reviews Identify opportunities to better protect customers.
- Insurance Sales Quote and sell auto, home, renters, and life insurance once properly licensed.
- Follow-Up Contact customers regarding service requests, coverage reviews, and sales opportunities.
- Customer Retention Provide a positive experience and help customers feel valued.
- Teamwork Support coworkers and contribute to agency goals.
- Accountability Maintain accurate records and meet service and sales expectations.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Qualifications
- Friendly, dependable, and professional.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable having sales conversations and working toward goals.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to multitask, follow through, and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Willingness to obtain required Texas insurance licenses.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service or sales experience.
- Insurance agency experience or active Texas insurance licenses.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
